xRM, a Microsoft partner that provides Microsoft Dynamics CRM consulting, development and hosting, needed to turn its Dynamics training and small consulting packages into a high-volume, profitable business. Their paper-based agreement process—printing, faxing, scanning, mailing and manual data entry—took days and added cost and delay, preventing timely service delivery and squeezing margins.
xRM implemented DocuSign and then used the DocuSign API to integrate electronic signing with its Dynamics CRM, automating document population and CRM updates. The change cut agreement processing from hours/days to about two minutes end-to-end, sped up service delivery and increased margins, and led xRM to launch xSign, a plug-in that combines Dynamics CRM, DocuSign and SharePoint to further automate document generation and signing.
