University Federal Credit Union (UFCU), a nearly century-old credit union with more than 320,000 members and $6.9B in assets, needed to modernize a cumbersome lending process that relied on printing and faxing. Members wanted fast, 24/7 service, and the old workflow was costing UFCU auto loans and creating operational bottlenecks.
UFCU integrated DocuSign eSignature and Guided Forms with its Temenos Infinity loan platform to digitize origination, automate document generation and routing, and deliver an electronic vehicle buyer’s check dealers accept. The result: a roughly five-minute loan application experience, increased auto lending, lower operational costs, broader use across account opening and SBA/PPP lending, and business continuity during COVID—helping nearly 1,200 businesses secure about $34M in PPP funds.
