How QTC helps disabled veterans get their benefits faster

QTC is one of the largest independent medical examination providers in the U.S., delivering disability and pre-employment exams for hundreds of thousands of claimants across more than 90 government agencies. Because veterans depend on timely medical exam results to receive benefits, QTC faced a critical bottleneck: obtaining provider signatures—previously routed by secure fax—often delayed sending completed exams to the Department of Veterans Affairs, slowing benefit determinations.

QTC implemented a custom integration using DocuSign eSignature and ran an adoption campaign with webinars, clinic-based experts, and national support. The result: median time to secure a signature fell from over 24 hours to about 2 hours (with many completed in seconds), provider adoption exceeded 95%, and QTC has expanded eSignature across multiple departments—enabling faster benefit processing and greater capacity to serve more veterans.
