Field account managers visited sites to review and capture signatures on triplicate forms, then sent bundles to corporate for data entry and scanning, creating version‑control issues and long delays between signing and processing.
Darling partnered with DocuSign to build a mobile, paperless agreement workflow and an integration roadmap, deploying DocuSign eSignature across the business. The change cut agreement completion time by 77 — from about one month to seven days — saved roughly $1M annually, freed two full‑time roles, and made tracking and storing documents far more efficient.
