A major online real estate agency that buys, renovates and leases single-family homes built a high-volume, low-cost rental business by obsessively automating its processes. To scale profitably and deliver consistent local service, the firm needed a faster, error‑proof way to handle the large number of leasing documents and tenant relationships that traditional broker workflows couldn’t support.

The company adopted DocuSign’s Digital Transaction Management platform to streamline signoff, tracking and contract setup—rolling it out across leasing, HR, legal and IT. As a result agents set up contracts in about five minutes, the leasing cycle shortened by two days, and DocuSign now supports more than 33,000 transactions a year (over 1,000 leases per month), enabling agents to manage roughly 100–150 tenants each—about ten times the volume of typical agents.
