Blue Circle Insurance, a Calgary-based broker and the province’s top motorcycle insurer, wanted to cut paper use and speed up policy signings as part of its “Blue is the new Green” sustainability push. Paper-based processes slowed dealership sales and hurt customer convenience, so the company sought a digital transaction solution that would let customers sign policies on the spot and streamline operations.
Blue Circle adopted DocuSign DTM out of the box, securing acceptance from almost all suppliers and reaching 98% DocuSigned new policies. The move enabled landing-page cross-selling, kept business running during severe flooding, and delivered measurable gains: about 60% reductions in paper use and signature cycle time, a 60% efficiency improvement, and contributed to roughly 12% annual revenue growth.
