Acteva, a San Francisco-based provider of on-demand event registration and ticketing that manages 600–700 large custom contracts a year, struggled with slow, error-prone contract workflows. Salespeople spent about 30 minutes assembling Word contracts with addendums, had no way to track edits or restrict changes, and routing papers to multiple approvers often delayed signatures and triggered last-minute markups.
By integrating DocuSign with Salesforce and document automation, Acteva now auto-populates contracts, limits editable fields, routes documents to multiple signers and internal reviewers, and stores agreements in a central Salesforce repository. The changes cut contract generation to under 10 minutes, reduced signing turnaround from roughly two days to about 15 minutes, and virtually eliminated unnecessary late-stage edits.
