A DocuPhase Case Study
Northwestern University, a private higher education institution, needed to quickly move three important registrar processes from paper and in-person handling to online workflows when COVID-19 disrupted campus operations. The university turned to DocuPhase’s onPhase forms and workflows to support students and advisers without requiring risky face-to-face meetings.
DocuPhase rapidly built and launched custom workflows for course add, course withdraw, and quarter withdraw processes in less than two weeks, using about half the estimated project hours. The solution added data validation, rejection and escalation steps, and Active Directory integration for easy login, and it later expanded to support petition to graduate, enrollment and dual enrollment, transfer credits, degree tracking, study abroad, and grade request workflows, helping Northwestern reduce manual effort and keep registrar operations efficient and error-free.
