Alaska Village Electric Cooperative (AVEC) is a not-for-profit utility serving the largest retail cooperative service area in the world, with field crews traveling for weeks to maintain power to remote villages. AVEC faced slow, error-prone paper trip reports—handwritten forms that had to be duplicated, routed manually across departments, and were hard to access—hindering reimbursements, technician turnaround and timely engineering review.
