Viking Range, LLC, a maker of high-end residential ranges and appliances, needed a single online source of comprehensive product information—installation guides, service manuals, parts books and multimedia—that technical publishers could update directly. Their previous process relied on an outside vendor and static PDFs, producing delays of 7–14 days for part updates and up to four days to publish new models. Documoto’s Professional Services migrated Viking’s legacy content and the platform was live in about 90 days, giving technical writers direct control to link parts, models and media and publish changes instantly. As a result, Viking can create a new parts book in 8 hours (versus 30 previously), apply part supersessions in about 30 minutes (versus 7–14 days), and make updates available to over 900 certified service partners and end users immediately. Documoto’s solution has sped repairs, increased first‑visit correct parts orders, improved customer experience, and returned publishing control to Viking.
