Mambu, a Berlin-based SaaS banking engine that serves more than 170 institutions in 55 countries, faced a documentation crisis when their previous tool, Desk.com, was retired in 2020. They struggled with a difficult WYSIWYG HTML editor that caused inconsistencies, lacked governance and audit trails, and had no role-based permissions — so Mambu adopted Document360’s knowledge-base platform to centralize and scale their documentation.

Document360 migrated Mambu’s content (preserving categories and formatting) from the public docs URL and delivered features like a landing page, Markdown editor, analytics, git-like version control, granular permissions and unlimited draft versions. As a result, Mambu now has easier navigation and public-facing documentation, a self-service model for updates, improved collaboration and governance, and actionable analytics to prioritize content improvements — all supported by Document360’s responsive support.
