Nephila Capital, a Bermuda-based investment manager specializing in insurance-linked securities and catastrophe risk for sophisticated institutional investors, needed a way to scale operations and give clients global, on-demand access to documents. Previously the firm emailed materials to investors, which became unsustainable as assets and client demand grew.

Nephila implemented ColumbiaSoft’s Document Locator to provide a secure, self-service web portal with workflow, approval and remote-access tools. The change moved publishing from days to same-day, shifted content publishing to business users (not IT), improved remote access for auditors and staff, automated back-office processes, and delivered stronger reporting, version control and risk reduction.
