United Way of Greater Knoxville, a not‑for‑profit serving Knoxville, Tennessee, struggled with paper-based fundraising and donor records that were fragmented across offices and off‑site storage—at one point more than 300 boxes of files. With a small staff and no dedicated IT person, the organization needed an easy-to-implement solution to reduce filing costs, speed retrieval of checks and pledge documentation, and improve accountability.
