Capital Cardiology Associates, PC (CCA), a seven‑location cardiology practice in upstate New York, faced slow, costly, paper‑driven processes with risks of misplaced or damaged documents and growing storage expenses. To modernize their workflows and reduce these risks, CCA selected DocStar and deployed DocStar Enterprise Content Management (ECM).
DocStar implemented its ECM solution (with Professional Services support and integration to Sage MAS 90), digitizing approvals and document tracking across accounting. The result was same‑day invoice approvals, improved accountability and accessibility, drastically reduced printing, stronger vendor relationships, and capture of early‑pay savings (including a 2% quick‑pay discount), with plans to expand DocStar further across the practice.
