Mohawk Fine Papers, a manufacturer of premium paper with about 725 employees across 7 locations, faced the need for an efficient way to store and retrieve documents and to give remote offices access to the same records. To solve these challenges the company selected DocStar and its DocStar Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution.
DocStar implemented DocStar ECM (initially in accounting/financial services in 2006) and expanded it enterprise-wide, using DataLink to integrate HR payroll and ERP systems. The result: Mohawk is virtually paperless, staff across all departments and remote sites can quickly find documents, security was improved, and employees save time to focus on higher‑value tasks—benefits realized across all seven locations and roughly 725 users.
