Applegreen, a major petrol forecourt retailer based in Dublin with operations in Ireland, the UK and the USA, needed to scale rapidly while eliminating paper processes, manual workflows and offsite storage. DocStar was engaged to help digitize and automate records and approvals using Epicor ECM technologies including Epicor ECM AP Automation, Advanced Workflow, Datalink and Intelligent Data Capture to replace paper-based handling across HR, accounts payable and store operations.

DocStar’s implementation automated invoice capture, OCR and electronic purchase-order routing with ERP and ServiceNow integrations, enabling Applegreen to process 5,000 invoices per month, eliminate up to 85% of manual keyboard entry and reduce AP headcount by 50%. The solution also cut warehouse storage needs, sped maintenance requests, improved audit readiness and delivered measurable productivity and cost savings for Applegreen.
