Collier Restaurant Group, a Sevier County, Tennessee restaurant management firm operating 14+ locations with nearly 600 employees, faced a failing legacy document system that routinely crashed, lacked scalability for HR and other departments, and forced manual processing of roughly 20,000 invoices per year. To address these issues they selected DocStar, deploying DocStar ECM and DocStar AP Automation (integrated with Sage 100 ERP) to replace the unstable platform and support growth.
DocStar converted Collier’s legacy data and implemented Intelligent Data Capture, Microsoft Access–driven inventory integration, and automated workflows across AP, HR and purchasing. As a result DocStar eliminated frequent downtime and data loss risk, improved security and ACA compliance, and cut manual processing by more than 50 hours per week while automating the handling of ~20,000 invoices annually—yielding an estimated yearly invoice-processing savings of about $250,400.
