Sterling Energy, a Denver-based oil and gas infrastructure provider, faced slow, error-prone document workflows that hurt field coordination, reporting accuracy, and productivity in both the home office and remote locations. To address these challenges they worked with DocStar, deploying DocStar Enterprise Content Management (ECM) alongside Artsyl docAlpha for intelligent capture and integration with existing systems.

DocStar implemented a cloud-based ECM solution with advanced workflow and reporting, enabling instantaneous access to customer files from tablets and remote sites, automated capture/indexing, and smoother integration with P2 Energy Excalibur. As a result DocStar helped Sterling Energy cut invoice approval from a full day to one hour, shorten the sale–invoice–approval–payment cycle by about 15 days, significantly reduce invoicing errors, and improve cash flow while freeing field sales to generate more business.
