Hempsons, a multi-award-winning UK full-service law firm, was suffering stability and performance problems in core applications—particularly metadata cleaning and document comparison—which caused Outlook freezes, failed email attachments and a high volume of IT service-desk tickets, undermining user confidence and compliance requirements such as ISO 27001. To address these issues, Hempsons trialed DocsCorp solutions including cleanDocs, compareDocs and pdfDocs.

DocsCorp implemented its desktop productivity suite across a cross-section of users, restoring reliability and user confidence while supporting ISO 27001 controls and integration with Visualfiles. The pilot showed a dramatic reduction in support issues—113 tickets for the incumbent product versus just 6 for DocsCorp in the same period (all use queries)—and pdfDocs improved redaction by fully burning out text, streamlining workflows and reducing the risk of inadvertent data breaches.
