Procure-to-pay Process Optimization For E-commerce

eMAG, a leading Romanian e-commerce company with operations in Bulgaria and Hungary, needed to improve its Procure-to-Pay operations, which were slowed by manual processing, paper-based document handling, limited traceability, and repetitive low-value work for accountants. DocProcess supported the company with supplier management and solutions including DxOrder, DxLogistics, and DxInvoice to modernize invoice and logistics document handling.

DocProcess implemented a fully managed supplier onboarding process, EDI-based exchange of orders, receipt advices, and invoices, along with n-way matching, compliance checks, and custom features such as bulk currency conversions. The results included a 95% reduction in document processing costs, a 50% increase in processed invoice volume, and implementation completed in 6 months, while also improving data accuracy and ensuring full fiscal and business rule compliance.
