How Publicis Eliminated Paperwork

Publicis Groupe Romania, the local branch of the global advertising network Publicis Groupe, needed to streamline a high-volume invoice process across more than 1,000 suppliers and 80,000 invoices per year. The company faced non-standardized invoice formats, slow handling across multiple sources, errors and duplicates, and difficulty implementing cost centers. To address this, Publicis worked with DocProcess using Managed Digitization, DxInvoice, and DxOrder.

DocProcess implemented a two-step transformation: first, managed digitization to capture, index, and standardize paper invoices through AI-based OCR, and second, a move toward full e-invoicing with ERP integration and supplier onboarding support. The results included 0% paper documents, 100% data accuracy, 5-minute invoice processing time, less than 0.1% document error rates, full access to metadata and traceability, full cost center enablement, and a 90% reduction in invoice processing FTE.
