Graña y Montero is a Lima‑based group of 26 engineering and infrastructure companies operating in seven Latin American countries with more than 23,000 employees. Its corporate learning arm, La Academia, faced scaling challenges as the business grew: expert knowledge was shared informally, their open‑source LMS couldn’t keep up, and the company needed a centralized, agile system that could deliver training at scale and provide data to measure effectiveness and competencies.

In 2016 Graña y Montero adopted the Docebo SaaS LMS to centralize course content and virtual classrooms, eliminate external customization needs, and track learner interactions and performance. Since then the company has expanded training reach fourfold—more than 8,000 virtual classroom users, 8,830 online and 1,830 in‑class participants—while rolling out programs like Microprogramas and Cantera to improve skills, measure outcomes, and democratize learning across the organization.
