Appian, a global leader in business process and case management software with millions of deployed users and a rapidly growing workforce, faced mounting training demand as it scaled. The company needed a more scalable, blended learning approach—moving beyond five-day classroom courses—to ensure customers, partners and employees could gain deeper, more consistent skills without the logistical limits and low follow-through of traditional instructor-led training.

Appian implemented Docebo’s LMS to deliver a subscription-based, blended learning ecosystem that pairs instructor-led courses with online coaching, sandbox practice environments and API-driven community content. The new model removed per-course transaction barriers, made the full curriculum available year-round, increased reach (training thousands in 2015) and set the stage for more organic, informal learning through upcoming Docebo Coach and Share modules.
