Translavic improves translator training for 50+ linguists with DO OK

Translavic, an internationally oriented language service provider, needed a reliable custom solution to train translators in the practical use of post-editing machine translation. Their challenge was to integrate an interactive tool into their eLearning platform that would allow linguists to practice this skill. DO OK was engaged to provide software consulting and development to meet this need.

DO OK designed and implemented a web application featuring a text editor with a familiar two-column layout for interactive linguistic tasks. The solution was integrated with the eLearning platform and included a mechanism for comparing edited text with a key. The project was a success, with the client confirming the Proof of Concept is actively used. Within a few months of launch, around 20 users subscribed to the course, and the tool has become a key advantage for Translavic, distinguishing their offering from more theoretical courses.
