SchoolDude, the market-leading provider of cloud applications for managing school facilities, wanted to turn its successful but largely static website into a dynamic hub that would boost engagement, loyalty and lead generation. With traffic and sales leads already strong, the challenge was to give customers and prospects a reason to return and to surface user-generated content that could attract new users.
They launched an integrated online community on Evoq Engage—deployed in weeks rather than months—organized around Discover (blogs, FAQ), Engage (discussions, groups, events, Q&A) and Contribute (blogs, ideation). Early results were strong: about 10 new user registrations per day and a 39% increase in unique visits in the first four months, plus a 54% rise in page views, 35% more pages per visit, dozens of Q&A entries and discussion topics, and community-driven ideas (like mobile apps) quickly acted on.
