Mars Brazil, the Petcare division behind PEDIGREE® and WHISKAS®, needed a replacement for a costly, desktop-only sales extranet that suffered from low adoption, limited partner collaboration and required vendor intervention for even minor content changes. They wanted a cost-effective, social and mobile-ready platform that sales teams, distributors and partners could use and manage without heavy IT support.
Working with Fortuitas, Mars launched a DNN Evoq Engage extranet hosted on Evoq OnDemand, delivering responsive design, social collaboration (with gamification), Groups-based partner access (e.g., Walmart), digital asset management and granular permissions/workflow for content owners. The result was higher engagement and usage across employees, distributors and partners, faster in-house content updates, secure partner collaboration and a scalable, lower-cost solution that met Mars’ security and mobile needs.
