CharityVillage, Canada’s largest online community for non-profit staff and volunteers, needed to replace a dated 1995-era website that was hard to manage and lacked rich user interaction. The organization turned to DNN Corp. and its Evoq Content CMS to modernize its online presence, improve community engagement, and support future eCommerce growth.
DNN Corp. implemented Evoq Content with integrated social features such as activity feeds, messaging, enhanced profiles, and groups, while helping CharityVillage reduce its content library from about 10,000 pages to 3,000. The new site launched in 2012, cut posting time roughly in half, made updates much easier for staff, and created a more engaging platform for members to communicate and collaborate.
