A DNN Corp. Case Study
The University of New Orleans, a public school serving over 11,000 students, had to rebuild its web presence after Hurricane Katrina closed its campuses and left IT reliant on a fragile, home-grown platform. By 2010 the university needed a resilient, affordable content management system that could integrate with existing systems like Active Directory and support more than 200 sites, with a hard go-live deadline in early 2011.
UNO chose DNN Evoq Content and partnered with R2Integrated to accelerate deployment, using modules such as Document Library, Engage Software Rotator, and Ventrian News Article plus content-staging and a clean, standards-based design approach. The new platform launched on schedule, now supports the home page and 200+ sub-sites, provides robust article workflows, versioning and permissions for colleges, and offers extensive vendor and community support.
