Shepley Wood Products, a contractor supply company in Hyannis, MA, needed to revamp its delivery processes to improve organization, simplify communication and increase visibility across six locations. To solve this they implemented Agility (locally hosted) and DQ Technologies’ Order Delivery Tracking (ODT), working with DMSi Software to integrate delivery tracking with their systems.

Using DMSi Software’s Agility integrated with ODT, Shepley deployed GPS tracking, dynamic geofencing, route-mile tracking and an On Time and In Full report to capture time, distance and cost at the order level. The solution gave managers real-time visibility, better staffing decisions and stronger accountability — Shepley now measures activity-based delivery costs and reports a 98.2% on-time delivery rate while quantifying delivery impacts on gross margin.
