McCray Lumber and Millwork, a Kansas City–area building materials supplier with five lumberyards and a millwork facility, faced inefficient field operations when sales reps had to call dispatchers for order changes, delivery updates and pricing—creating phone tag and heavy lookup workloads. To address this, McCray adopted DMSi Software’s Agility Sales mobile app (part of the Agility SaaS hosted system) so reps could access open A/R, order status, pricing and item availability directly from phones and tablets.
Using DMSi Software’s Agility Sales app, reps now find ticket numbers and change delivery dates in about 15–20 seconds and complete lookups in under 30 seconds, eliminating paperwork and slow callbacks. The faster turnaround has kept projects on schedule, improved contractor satisfaction, reduced dispatcher load, and given McCray Lumber and Millwork a clear competitive advantage through quicker, more accurate service.
