Wolters Kluwer, a global information services company serving legal, tax, finance and healthcare professionals, needed a partner to handle procurement, provisioning and asset management of mobile devices across multiple carriers for its roughly 18,000 employees. They engaged DMI to deliver end-to-end mobility management—including device procurement, provisioning and global logistics—to support a highly distributed, multi-carrier environment.
DMI implemented a complete mobility solution covering BlackBerry, Android and iPhone devices with forward/reverse logistics, device imaging, carrier interaction, spare pools, break/fix, recycling, OS upgrades and 24/7 mobile help desk support. As a result, DMI now supports Wolters Kluwer’s global workforce of ~18,000, resolves service and support calls around the clock, keeps devices secure and up-to-date, and has freed Wolters Kluwer IT staff to focus on strategic initiatives.
