Warburtons, Britain’s leading baker with more than 20,000 stores and over 4,500 employees, faced slow, paper-based in-store checks and merchandising that generated heavy administrative overhead for its Retail Field Team. DMI was engaged to replace these manual processes with a mobile solution and delivered the Warburtons Red Insight app to streamline data capture and speed field reporting.
DMI built an intuitive, offline-capable app that synchronised with Warburtons’ back-end systems, removed duplicated data entry and gave field staff real-time access to product data and the company catalogue. The change cut data-entry time from one day per week to one day per month per team member, improved overall productivity, drove a significant increase in sales and led to broad adoption and industry awards.
