inDrive expands to 48 countries with dLocal

inDrive, the world’s fastest-growing online ride-sharing service, faced a significant challenge as it expanded into emerging markets. It needed a payments partner that could simplify and localize payment methods for drivers and riders across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. The company required a straightforward, scalable solution that could handle multiple local payment options and support its unique peer-to-peer business model. inDrive turned to the vendor dLocal and its dLocal for Platforms service to address this need.

dLocal provided a comprehensive solution, integrating over 900 localized payment methods in 40 countries for both collections and driver disbursements. This included adding alternative payment methods like PIX in Brazil and enabling a new, streamlined cashless process. As a result of working with dLocal, inDrive successfully expanded its payment operations into over 20 regions, launched an efficient all-in-one cashless solution in Brazil, and grew the partnership to encompass three global solutions, supporting the company's continued rapid growth in the ride-sharing industry.
