Salt Mobile engaged Divio to build the "Salt Community," a unified web presence that combined a public portal, community site and intranet. Salt Mobile needed a rapid, iterative solution to enable user interactions (questions, answers, comments), robust search, multiplatform authentication and strong moderation controls; Divio delivered a Django‑based implementation and integrated CAS single sign‑on to meet those requirements.

Divio implemented a responsive, Django‑based community with features such as Karma and Badges, private messaging, tag-based robust search, a moderator Dashboard with pre/post-moderation and hidden tags, and a single sign‑on that gives users access to five platforms plus a shared cross‑platform search. The outcome for Salt Mobile was a consolidated ecosystem that streamlined moderation workflows, enabled immediate email notifications and cross‑platform access, and improved user engagement and operational efficiency — with Divio explicitly delivering the SSO across five platforms and centralized moderation tools.
