University of Wisconsin - School of Nursing equips 60-student seminar rooms with Diversified collaborative technology

The University of Wisconsin's School of Nursing sought to enhance its Doctor of Nursing Practice and Ph.D. programs by integrating collaborative technology into its seminar rooms. The challenge was to design spaces that could support large groups, facilitate video conferencing with guest lecturers and remote classrooms, and enable student collaboration, all while ensuring the technology was easy for instructors to operate. Diversified was engaged to provide a solution.

Diversified implemented a comprehensive technology solution for two-tiered seminar rooms. Each seat was equipped with a push-to-talk microphone that automatically triggered cameras to focus on the speaker, and tables were designed for group work with shared marker-boards and laptop connections. The system also included digital recording for video-on-demand review. The result was a seamless, easy-to-use environment that transformed the learning experience, allowing for effective remote collaboration and providing students with valuable recorded materials. Diversified successfully created a highly functional and intuitive space for the university.
