University of Washington powers 1,800+ displays with Diversified

The University of Washington's Intercollegiate Athletics department faced the challenge of modernizing the technology systems within their iconic Husky Stadium during its renovation. They required a 21st-century broadcast infrastructure to support sports broadcasting and other network needs. Diversified was brought in to design and implement this new stand-alone IT network.

Diversified installed a comprehensive system featuring over 60 Cisco switches, a redundant core, and hundreds of wireless access points. This solution powers everything from IPTV feeds to over 1,800 displays, point-of-sale kiosks, security, and a wireless coaching system. The project also included connecting the stadium to a pre-existing control room in a nearby arena. As a result, Diversified successfully provided the university with a fast-tracked, modernized network infrastructure that supports both operational and fan experience goals.
