United States Navy upgrades USNS Mercy ship-to-shore AV across 4 mess halls with Diversified

The United States Navy required advanced audiovisual systems for the USNS Mercy hospital ship to enhance its critical ship-to-shore communications. The challenge was to equip four mess halls and an Admiral's conference room with secure and non-secure video conferencing capabilities and robust AV infrastructure to support the vessel's medical and humanitarian missions. Diversified was selected to engineer and install this complex system under a tight timeline.

Diversified implemented a comprehensive solution featuring large format displays, Crestron and Extron control systems, ClearOne audio, and Tannoy speakers. They integrated specialized conferencing capabilities and deployed Crestron's e-control system to allow the ship's IT team to monitor all AV systems across the massive vessel. Working quickly with the on-site team, Diversified successfully installed the systems, reinforcing them for sea travel. As a result, the USNS Mercy is now equipped to more effectively meet and relay vital communications for each of its missions.
