Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation creates an immersive museum experience with Diversified’s 8-projector, 20-display AV platform

The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation sought to create a highly accessible and immersive museum experience that would emotionally engage visitors with the story of the Statue of Liberty and the concept of liberty itself. The challenge was to build a flexible and reliable technology platform for this new museum, the home of the statue's original torch. Diversified provided the audio visual and digital signage technology to serve as the forefront platform for this story.

Diversified implemented a comprehensive solution featuring an Immersive Theater with blended laser-phosphor projectors and multi-speaker audio, interactive donor touchscreens, an Engagement Gallery with projection and transparent displays, and a Becoming Liberty gallery with a large LED video wall and interactive kiosks. The technology platform was designed with extensive redundancies for minimal downtime and used solid-state, lamp-free components. The result is a deeply immersive experience where visitors are surrounded by the tale of the American dream, culminating in an interactive exhibit that allows patrons to create and share their own content on a massive video wall.
