Seneca College upgrades a multi-purpose AV space with Diversified in 2 room modes

Seneca College needed to upgrade the audio visual and lighting systems for a multi-purpose teaching and conference space to accommodate its varied uses, all within a tight timeline. The challenge was to create a flexible system that could easily convert between one large room and two separate ones with limited technical support. Diversified was the vendor chosen to implement this solution.

Diversified installed a comprehensive system featuring dual video walls, multiple displays, and motorized podiums with touchscreen control. A key innovation was the use of automatic sensors on a movable wall track to detect the room's configuration, seamlessly switching the AV system between one large room or two independent ones. This solution provided presenters with intuitive control over all room functions and included a mobile audio console for special events, achieving the college's goal of a highly flexible and user-operated multi-purpose space.
