Oregon Public Broadcasting modernizes broadcast operations with Diversified across 32-fader audio control rooms

Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) sought to modernize and standardize its radio and television broadcast platforms, aiming to create a production space that reflected careful stewardship of public funds. The challenge included executing this technical build-out in place while the facility remained fully operational and on air. OPB turned to the vendor Diversified for the project.

Diversified designed and implemented a comprehensive update, which included new green rooms, voiceover booths, and a versatile multimedia studio that serves as the facility's cornerstone. The solution also featured standardized audio control rooms and a consolidated Tech Core with facility-wide systems for intercom, KVM, and signal distribution. Diversified successfully delivered the entire modernization without taking OPB off the air, resulting in a highly reliable and scalable space that supports dynamic live productions and thoughtful community content.
