Modesto Junior College saves students 113 miles of travel with Diversified

The customer, Modesto Junior College, needed to enhance its nursing education program with a new Medical Simulation Center. The challenge was to create a facility where students could practice techniques on simulators and have those exercises, along with critical debriefing sessions, effectively recorded for review. They partnered with the vendor Diversified to implement this audiovisual solution.

Diversified implemented a comprehensive solution that included PTZ cameras, microphones, and display monitors in simulated hospital rooms to record exercises and debriefings. This allowed students to review instructor feedback and their own performance, reinforcing their learning. The system also enabled the recording of lectures for remote cohorts, saving students a 113-mile round trip and expanding access to education. The project was so successful that Modesto Junior College trusted Diversified to deliver the technology for another new campus building.
