The customer, Little Caesars Arena, home to the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and NBA's Detroit Pistons, faced the challenge of upgrading its in-stadium fan experience. To take full advantage of its massive new center-hung videoboard, the arena required a state-of-the-art broadcast control room and production workflow. The vendor, Diversified, was engaged to provide a solution.

Diversified implemented a comprehensive 1080p broadcast control room featuring a Grass Valley Karrera production switcher, Evertz Magnum router, DreamCatcher replay servers, and ChyronHego graphics servers. They also built a secondary control space suspended over the arena floor. This solution services all in-game and pre/post-game shows and supports the entire District Detroit development, creating an unforgettable and immersive fan experience through content delivered to over 45 LED displays.
