Johns Hopkins University equips APL’s 5,000-person lab with Diversified AV and security systems

Johns Hopkins University's Applied Physics Laboratory required advanced collaboration and security systems to support its critical research and development work. The challenge was to outfit new SECAN and QNA Labs with user-friendly, efficient, and cost-effective technology solutions. Diversified was brought in to provide AV system design, installation, and project management.

Diversified implemented a comprehensive solution featuring an Operations Control Center Wall Display and a Command and Control Console for the SECAN Lab. For the QNA Lab, they installed a two-operator workstation with web conferencing capabilities and a primary video display system with interactive touch screens. Diversified also provided a security analytics and surveillance solution. The systems, executed on an expedited timeline, are now used by university staff for the advancement of scientific technology solutions.
