Edison Chouest Offshore, a provider of offshore support vessels, required a reliable entertainment solution for its crew aboard vessels like the Island Intervention in the Caribbean. The vendor, Diversified, was contracted to install an IPTV entertainment system to deliver television programming, a critical amenity for crew morale during long periods at sea.

Diversified installed a system that delivers DIRECTV Caribbean programming via a SeaTel steerable antenna to set-top boxes in staterooms and public areas. The project required specialized safety training and a helicopter transport for the installation team. Diversified successfully implemented the solution on the Island Intervention and other vessels like the MV Island Performer, with the goal of servicing more ships in the fleet in the future.
