Colorado Rockies debut first 1080p60 HDR videoboard with Diversified

The Colorado Rockies sought to upgrade their production control room and videoboard at Coors Field as part of a major renovation for their 25th anniversary. Their challenge was to implement the first HDR-capable LED videoboard and control room in a sports venue. They engaged the vendor, Diversified, for its comprehensive design-build consultation services across architectural, structural, and numerous technology subsystems.

Diversified implemented a complete solution, consulting on the control room's design and co-developing a graphics delivery platform with partners to power the new HDR-ready displays. The result was the successful debut of the first 1080p60 HDR LED videoboard in a sports venue. Diversified also established a new IT topology to manage full HDR content acquisition, editorial, and archival, significantly upgrading the ballpark's production capabilities for both in-house and broadcast content.
