Boston Museum of Science installs 490 ceiling-mounted LED tiles with Diversified

The Boston Museum of Science faced the challenge of installing a pioneering, expansive ceiling-mounted LED array on a walkway bridge, a first-of-its-kind project spanning two wings. They engaged Diversified, who worked with Barco's X2.7 LED tiles, to handle the complex installation and system design amidst product and construction delays that required working overnight in a public space.

Diversified implemented the solution by closely collaborating with the museum and Barco, adapting on-site with extensive bridging for unaccounted infrastructure and reworking the mounting structure. Despite challenges, Diversified completed all contract work and last-minute additions like a custom trim bezel, successfully delivering the ambitious LED display array to meet the client's aggressive deadline for the grand opening.
