Baylor University upgrades McLane Stadium video production with Diversified for HD broadcasts and student-friendly control room

Baylor University sought to build a new football stadium and required a video production control room to deliver a top-tier HD fan experience for its students and alumni. The challenge was that the production systems would be entirely operated by students who needed to use the equipment with minimal training. Diversified was chosen to provide the design and integration services for this new control room.

Diversified implemented a solution using a Ross Vision switcher, Sony cameras, and Chyron graphics to ensure compatibility and ease of use for the student operators. They allocated additional on-site manpower and built a local team to complete the project on time. The solution provided Baylor with enhanced switching capabilities, more replay power, and the ability to produce and broadcast in HD for its scoreboards and broadcast partners. Diversified met all deadlines and, based on this success, was awarded another project from the university.
