Action Industrial Group, a Rock Hill, SC distributor of fasteners, hoses, gaskets and construction supplies (with fabrication services and major brands like DeWalt® and 3M®), faced rapid growth after doubling its warehouses from three to six and needed systems to manage the expansion. To meet that challenge, Action Industrial Group implemented Distribution One’s ERP software to modernize operations and support ongoing scale-up.

Distribution One deployed ERP capabilities—VMI support, barcode scanning, warehouse management, handheld devices, order entry, purchasing and accounts receivable—to automate warehousing and back-office processes. The solution enabled cycle counting in two warehouses, focused inventory on high-volume items, and halved the time to service customer VMI locations via handhelds; improved scanning and electronic order creation increased accuracy and profitability while automating sales, purchasing and accounting freed staff to handle more business without adding overhead.
