Siemens needed a scalable, cost-effective way to improve maintenance training and safety education for its global workforce. The company turned to DiSTI and its VE Studio for Unity platform to create virtual and augmented reality training for field service technicians, replacing more time-consuming and less flexible classroom and hands-on methods.

DiSTI helped Siemens build immersive training modules for turbine inspection and safety awareness across desktop, VR, and AR devices. The program reduced overall training time by 66%, improved initial pass rates by 13% versus classroom lecture training, and enabled Siemens to reuse content across multiple product lines and make training available to more than 80,000 employees through the internal intranet.
