RRC Robotica Submarina - Customer Case Study

RRC Robotica Submarina, a Brazilian company specializing in deep-sea exploration and ROV training, needed a better way to train personnel on routine maintenance procedures for its fleet of deep-sea remotely operated vehicles. To address this challenge, RRC worked with DiSTI to develop a virtual maintenance system for pre- and post-operation checks and routine servicing.

DiSTI created “SIMA” (Sistema de Manutenção Avançada) using GL Studio and Replic8 to emulate the ROV control station interface and deliver interactive 3D maintenance training. The result was a more accessible, cost-effective training solution that RRC said would reduce human mistakes and maintenance time while improving professionalism and innovation for its customers.
